HR REWARDS JOBS FROM OUR HR TEAM
HR plays a key role in a company’s reward and recognition process. If implemented effectively, it can improve employee loyalty, work ethic and motivation.
For business owners, reward and recognition can often fall to the wayside. Keeping up to date with changing employee motivators and sourcing new reward/recognition schemes that interest and engage with all levels of a team is a continuous process. This is where HR comes in.
HR works closely with business owners and managers to understand their goals. This often boils down to improving the bottom line; getting more for less by enhancing the quality of work, as well as the quantity for each individual. This requires careful consideration to ensure employees are motivated, feel valued and are rewarded for their extra efforts.
Rewards show employee appreciation. They play a key part in attracting and retaining top performers and improving productivity. It’s important to remember rewards don’t have to be monetary; public recognition such as business wide newsletters, extra days holiday or even offering remote working, all show trust and recognise staff for hard work and loyalty.
HR professionals responsible for rewards need to embed themselves within a business to keep up to date with what really drives employees. From wellbeing initiatives to holidays and team lunches, HR individuals need to understand their team to find rewards that will truly be appreciated.
We have worked with Staffgroup to fill a number of positions over the years and found their involvement very helpful. Importantly, they supply only relevant candidates, so we don’t waste time.
